Community Mediation Services id s 501(c)3 organization that serves Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Crawford, Iosco, Kalkaska, Montmorency, Presque Isle, Oscoda, and Otsego counties in Northern Lower Michigan with all volunteer mediators. Offices are located in downtown Gaylord, Michigan.
Our Mission is to assist people in resolving their disputes in a confidential, affordable, and peaceful manner by providing trained mediators in a neutral setting.
Our Vision is to make conflict resolution, through the process of facilitative mediation, available and affordable to all people in Northern Lower Michigan.
