When an Order of Protection is in place, mediation can still take place online. The mediator may reject or terminate any case they deem inappropriate because of domestic violence.
If mediation is not successful, the mediator will inform the Court and the attorneys in writing that no agreement was reached. Parties may have the option to attend in person mediation.
If mediation is successful, the mediator will prepare a written parenting plan that will state the terms of the agreement. The parenting plan will be given to the parties and their attorneys.
